It appears to be a simple and straightforward process. However, due to our human weaknesses and lack of submission, mainly influenced by the prevailing culture, this otherwise straightforward process becomes incredibly challenging.
So, what does it truly mean to “please the Lord”? Essentially, it entails two fundamental aspects. The first part involves attentive listening and faithful adherence to God’s commandments. The second part necessitates putting those commandments into practice. The formula is as easy to understand as 1 plus 1 equals 2.
To overcome our inherent weaknesses and reluctance to embrace the principles outlined in the Bible, we can begin by selecting one commandment from the many and focusing on it. By dedicating ourselves to its daily implementation, we will be amazed at how effortlessly we can carry out God’s will. I encourage you to give it a try and witness the transformative power it holds.
