TODAYS

You don’t need to walk alone.

Glorious body

He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.

(Philippians 3:21, NLT)

Among all the X-Men characters I like Wolverine best! Putting aside the actor and character design, my reason for preferring this character is his supernatural ability. His body could rejuvenate itself, and he is virtually immortal, well he lived for 197 years.

Originally, back in the Garden of Eden when God first created mankind, human’s body was meant to be immortal (Genesis 2:15-17). This natural body was meant to live on earth for a long time. That implies, in high possibility, that this body could rejuvenate and heal itself. Of course, Adam and Eve lost the supernatural ability when they sinned against God. But Adam lived on for 930 years! (Much longer than Wolverine! *smile*)

Would you like to have this type of body? As for me, I would love to. It is God’s original intent. So, why not believe God for it? What if God has already begun the work of restoration in and for you? All you need to do is to find and to understand the working power of His resurrection! By doing so, you could unlock it.

A few weeks ago, when I was coming down with the flu (something which you would not want to get especially in the pandemic season), I looked to God and determined for an instant healing. My body started to ache, and I could tell that my body temperature is rising. I made a short and convincing prayer. I said, “In Jesus’ name, I receive healing right now! Flu and fever, aches in my body, leave me right now!” Within a minute, every symptom and sign of illness disappeared! So, theoretically speaking, I was only affected by the sickness not more than 30 minutes.

I encourage you to trust God for a divine exchange, taking your weak mortal body and changing it into a glorious body. This is one of God’s will, and He would do it when you are ready to receive from Him.

Scripture reading: Acts 14:19-20

Let us pray

Dear God, I submit my body, soul and mind to You. I want to experience a divine exchange in these areas of life. I believe Your salvation is here and it is now working for me, every day! The saving grace allows me to experience the power that raised Christ from the dead. This same power will transform my weak mortal body into a glorious body. So, rejuvenation and healing are happening now! Thank You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
