but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:25, NIV)
The Word of God is living and all-time powerful! Those who meditate upon it shall be like a tree planted by the river where its leaf does not wither. When the Apostle Peter recollected one part of the ancient scripture, he highlighted the point, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.”
The point he afterwards brings across is, this is the word that was preached to you. Indeed, to all the other readers and us. Let us pay attention to what the Lord is whispering here.
Here is the Word. Yes, the Word of the Lord which will endure forever. It is with us now. This living Word of God delivers to our soul, mind and spirit. When we receive them with faith, nurture them within our soul and mental realms, very quickly they take effects like a preservative.
Surely you already know how preservative work. It preserves food and other objects. Today, the living Word of God is keeping and protecting us from decay! What could be decaying in your life? Health? Wealth? Emotion? Or even a relationship?
The good news is, the Word of God will act as a preservative in these areas. It will endure forever. It will bring forth restoration; reconciliation; healing; transformation, etc. What do you believe God for before the end of 2019?
Today, the living Word of God is keeping and protecting us from decay! It will bring forth restoration; reconciliation; healing; transformation, etc.
Let us pray:
Dear God, I receive the living Word of God right now! I exercise faith in Your word. I choose to obey Your instruction, and I shall meditate upon them regularly. I look forward to a transformative life as I abide in Your word and promises. I proclaim blessings to come my way. I decree healing! Restoration of body and health! Wisdom to lead others toward You. Grace to gather wealth so to advance and administer Your kingdom here on earth! In Jesus’ name. Amen!
