TODAYS

You don’t need to walk alone.

Time’s up

Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. (1 Peter 3:18, NLT)

It was one ordinary afternoon when Debbie and I took an evening stroll around the neighbourhood. As usual, we would chat and catch up with life. We often enjoyed looking at houses and their landscaping. Suddenly we noticed a child roaming around by the walking path. Obviously, he was alone. Immediately we attended to him. We were able to reach his parents and took him safely home to his family. We noticed a great relief on their faces and a strong sense of gratitude.

All of us roam around in this life. Our souls were lost, but by God’s grace, Christ reached out to us. He brought us safely home to Father God.

I remember vividly as though it happened yesterday when the tangible presence of God touched my heart and soul. His love pushes out all of my sorrows, and a strong sense of healing took place right there and then. It was then I knew that I could not resist His saving grace. That was the day when I surrendered my will to Christ. The feeling of being loved and accepted was beyond words to describe. Christ brought me safely home to where my soul was meant to rest—the loving arms of God.

Scripture reading: Acts 9:15-20

TODAYS Ministry is a charity organisation. We believe in sowing, and we have been and still are sowing into the lives of thousands. Partner with us and your donation, large or small, will help reach many more who are struggling in this journey of life.

Let’s pray

Lord, You are so kind to me. Even though I chose to insult You, and despised Your other children who tried to reach out to me. Yet, You never gave up on me after many years. I owe my life to You and to those faithful Christians who share the love of God. Use me to bring those who are lost in this life safely home to You. Just like me, they need Your embrace. It’s time to go home to Your family. Amen!
