For over three years, while I was in college, strangers came to me and handed me Gospel tracts. They extended their invitation to evangelistic services. I ignored all, and eventually, I avoided them from far.
But there’s one individual who attracted me during my college years. She faithfully but gently encourages me to return to God. She was aware of my Methodist family background. In her quiet and sincere ways shared the love of Jesus whenever we crossed the path in college. I am thankful to her because she didn’t give up on me. She was the best lecturer I ever had in my life.
Finally, in the third year of college, I accepted Miss Liew’s invitation to a college fellowship. It was there I had my first encounter with God. He touched me most profoundly, and His love pierced through my heart and soul. I wept and found inner peace and comfort for the first time! I accepted Him into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior.
God is faithful, and He faithfully keeps His promises. Hold on to Him in good time and bad. Be consistent in the way you follow and adore Him. He will never let you down as long as you place your security in Him alone.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being a faithful friend and brother to me. Your love for me is truthful and genuine, practical yet profound. I am deeply blessed to have You. I love You always. All of God’s people say, amen!
