The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. (Isaiah 55:10-11, NLT)
Among ancient prophecies and revelations in the Old Testament, I found the Book of Isaiah holds profound knowledge about God—His thoughts and plans. The more I study Isaiah, the more I discover spiritual keys and divine principles. The good news is, God intended you and me to inherit them!
Isaiah’s revelation about God’s spoken word carries a secret formula. The formula to prosper us and to enable us to succeed now, and forever. The spoken word of God–His utterance, is ‘Apostolos’ which is a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders. When God speaks forth His word, they became an agent. Think of them as apostles, appointed by God to get His will done on earth.
The prophet Isaiah describes God’s utterance as rain and snow. They left heaven and fall upon the earth to do one thing, and that is, to cause the grain to grow, to produce seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. These words will accomplish all of God’s desire, which is to prosper the receivers and doers.
My dear family and friends, I strongly encourage you to set aside time and listen to His utterance. As you hear, you are to understand His words. Pay attention to the Spirit of God because the Holy Spirit is sent to guide, to teach and to unveil a greater depth of His words. One of the keys to prosperity and success is, to listen, comprehend and carry out His utterance. When you do your part, His spoken word would soon take roots in a good soil which will produce crops of a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown (Matthew 13).
We are in a challenging time, but His utterance will overpower all challenges, troubles and crises. He can turn the desert land into a fruitful ground. His spoken word is His sent one! When you receive His spoken words, His apostolic grace is upon you!
These words will accomplish all of God’s desire, which is to prosper the receivers and doers.
Let us pray:
Dearest Holy Spirit, thank You for speaking to me. You utter those creative and life-producing words over me, they will cause growth and productivity in and through me. I’m confident that in such a time where much uncertainty and troubles are arising around the world, Your spoken words will overcome all of them. I know Your kingdom is here, and Your kingdom power and glory shall manifest in those words. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen!
