Jesus said, “Go. You are healed because you believed.” Immediately the man was able to see again. He followed Jesus down the road. Mark 10:52 (ERV)
The blind Bartimaeus eagerly cried for Jesus, the Son of David. His cry was so loud and intense, and it caught Jesus’ attention. Jesus went and approached him. The Lord asked,” What do you want me to do for you?” without hesitation, Bartimaeus replied,” I want to see again!” Jesus met his eager desire. He received more than physical sights but a revelational understanding of who Jesus was.
God is interested in disclosing Himself to you when He found you are humble, hungry and pure in all your way. One of the ancient prophets, Isaiah, was ordained and anointed by God. He saw one of the most profound revelations took place in Heaven. A conversation between the Father and His beloved Son. Indeed, Isaiah was an ordinary man, yet he received a spiritual blessing which no others in his generation ever had gained. Don’t feel discouraged at where you are because when you cry to the Lord Jesus, He would touch you and enable you to see again!
Most people are fearful to know about their future. I want to encourage you not to be so because the Spirit of Revelation —the Spirit of Jesus Christ will guide you. He will grace you with wisdom, maturity and strength to accept and manage the fact of your future. All you need to do is to stay humble before the Almighty God, to be sober before God and men and maintain a pure heart —a heart after God’s heart.
Don’t feel discouraged at where you are because when you cry to the Lord Jesus, He would touch you and enable you to see again!
A Prayer for Today:
Dear God, I’m so excited for the day when Your prophetic spirit would rest upon me. It will help me see into the future and to understand Your purposes and plans. By receiving insights, I position myself in the right time and at the right place; to serve my generation more effectively. I should not be afraid because of Your appointment comes with a measure of grace, wisdom and maturity. I eagerly await for the baptism of the Spirit of Revelation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
