Raising Family: A start to my journey in fitness.

Growing up, I have never been a sports person, nor was I interested in active fitness type activities, but as my body age, I noticed I feel tired and lack of stamina. I know I have to do something about it. My husband, on the other hand, is highly disciplined in his daily work out routine and being a Kung Fu champion before, he is very fit and highly motivated to stay healthy. My children benefited his training since they were young, and now, as teenagers, my boys are highly motivated to workout with their dad in the evenings.

Watching them workout and staying fit is contagious. It didn't take long for my sons to persuade my daughter to join them, and now she is on track with them too. I knew if I wanted to improve my fitness, who better to ask for help then my own family, and trust me, they were so excited to have me join in. So I started exercising with them at a beginner level.

Some days I 'don't feel like it, but as I look at it as spending time with my family, it motivates me to join them, this is how I can encourage them too. Staying fit is a good habit and lifestyle to cultivate. It all started with one person in my family, my husband, and it spreads to the rest of the family. As a famous saying goes, ‘’It only takes a spark to get the fire going''.

I will share more of my journey along the way as I have only just begun.
