You put them in charge of everything you made. You put everything under their control.

Do you remember that day before God creates the first human? He carried on His heart an intention for humans to inherit His earthly kingdom. He said, “Now let’s make humans who will be like us. They will rule over all the fish in the sea and the birds in the air. They will rule over all the large animals and all the little things that crawl on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26, ERV)
Right after He shared His mind, He went ahead and created Adam in His image and likeness. He then spoke blessings over him, and told him to exercise dominion over every created thing under heaven! Another word God told Adam, “You are in charge now. Do what I would do, and take control. Take care of these creations.”
God does that because He believes in Adam. He trusted Adam to get the job done! There’s nothing wrong to believe in people. A mature and secure leader could share his or her power and authority to the subordinates. It is not necessary because the assistants have what it takes to get the job done. Instead, it’s the leader who chooses to trust the upcoming leaders.
Of course, we all know the story. And Adam failed big…! He lost control and created the ultimate mess. His single mistake places the human race into a path beyond redemption until thousands of years later, Jesus came to undo that mistake.
Please pause and imagine together with me. What if Adam didn’t lose control? How would the positive outcome be? Now, what if you are Adam? And you are now in charge of all created things? Also, all of these things are under your control. What would you do? Are you ready to accept that role?
Every believing Christians can inherit God’s original plan if only they are aware of God’s original intention. Do you want that responsibility? Are you prepared to listen to His heartbeats, and carry out His specific will for your generation?
Remember this one thing. God believes in you because He is confident of the redemptive work of His only Son, as well as the power of the Holy Spirit. He would wish of you a willingness to obey and serve His will.
If your heart desire is to do God’s will but ain’t sure how and where to begin, I have one suggestion. PRAY! Pray the Lord’s Prayer every single day. You would be surprised what can happen to you in His appointed time.

Let us pray
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom comes, and Your will be done on earth as it’s in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us of our sins, as we forgive those who had sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, and power and glory, forever and ever. Amen!
