Inner voice?
Everyone has their definition and experience of the inner voice. As for me, the inner voice is the voice of the Lord. What are your description and life experience?
A few days ago, during my devotional time, a lightning speed conviction came upon me. In an instant, I recognised it as the Lord’s whisper. What exactly did He speak? The Model Prayer!
The inner voice told me to recite Matthew 6:9-13 as frequently as I can. He told me to pray the Prayer as many times a day as I could. So I obeyed and started reciting, as habitually as I remember. Up until today, I prayed the Model Prayer an average of six times daily.

Personal experiences
Ever since I cultivate this lifestyle of reciting the Model Prayer, I begin to experience a greater sense of peace and calmness of the mind and heart. I could feel positive changes within. It is like the first born again experience, which is hard to describe through words. But I know, deep down, something has started to change.
I also found falling asleep easier. Before this season, I used to struggle to fall asleep. What usually took me half an hour or more to get into a dreamland, now it’s minutes. I want to think it’s pure coincidence, but my spirit doesn’t bear witness. I knew supernatural work of the Holy Spirit had begun!
I was led by the inner voice to write this post, even though I didn’t intend to do so. I couldn’t resist because the stirring from within whirls me to do it. All I hope is, as you read this post, may the working of the Holy Spirit begin in you, and eventually through you and bring forth greater glory to our Lord and Father.
Let us pray
Our Father in heaven, may Your name be praised and may the world exalt Your most holy name. When You appeared before Moses, You told him that Your name is, “I AM!” And when Jesus was arrested in Gethsemane, somebody asked for Jesus the Nazarene. The Lord replied, “I AM He.” Instantly a mighty force came forth and caused the arresters to fall to the ground. That is such a mighty presence in Your name! In my daily Prayer, I ask for one thing, and that is to know You more. I ask in total humility. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
