What can we say about all of this? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31, GW)
Fear of the future cannot trap you. Illnesses and terminal diseases should not cripple you. Viruses and bacterias due to contamination of this world would not harm you. No threats could ever paralyse you! God is for you, and nothing and no one can be against you.
In times of uncertainty and calamities strike fears in the hearts of millions, you as the chosen people of God, rest assured that nothing, absolutely nothing can stand against you. Where could you draw such confidence? What enables you to make such a bold claim? My answer to you is a straightforward one, right in the living Word of God.
Paul, having his heart and soul knitted into His spirit, encourages us to know Him. His unfailing love leads to a place where He was willing to sacrifice His only Son for our sins. Which father would do this? Indeed, God Himself because of His unconditional love for us all.
Here is the good news, through the unconditional love of Triune God, He defeated the ultimate enemy–Sin and Death. What other forces can ever come close to the challenge? None! Fear of the future cannot trap you. Illnesses and terminal diseases should not cripple you. Viruses and bacterias due to contamination of this world would not harm you. No threats could ever paralyse you! God is for you, and nothing and no one can be against you.
I want to encourage you to draw close to Him. In your communion with Him, attempt to know Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you. When you receive a fraction of the knowledge of who God is, you will never be the same. It is a life transformation process awaiting you.
Let us pray:
Dearest Holy Spirit, I rejoice in this season when calamities and uncertainties are holding millions ransom. I stand before these demonic forces with courage because my confidence is in You. Your word of truth is the Promise for now and for the future. I have faith in You Lord Jesus that, You will fight for me. You will use me as an instrument to reach this world. You can use me to touch these lives. The same love I received in You, I now share it to people who cross path with me. Thank You for the unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen!
