TODAYS

You don’t need to walk alone.

I Will Sing

But I will sing about your strength. In the morning I will joyfully sing about your mercy. You have been my stronghold and a place of safety in times of trouble. (Psalm 59:16, GW)

When we have a fraction of knowledge about God, our ways of life would take a turn. We will soon realise that God has positioned us above all problems and troubles.

Many people hold a similar opinion about 2020. They agreed that this new year is challenging. It's a year started with calamities. I agree with them on the disasters, but I place a higher agreement with the Scripture where it says, the Lord has been my stronghold and a place of safety in times of trouble.

Jesus fold told His disciples and followers that, in this world, there would be problems and troubles. But be at peace because He already conquered them! He is the Overcomer. Knowing the truth that the Lord has overcome the world, it sets our hearts and minds in peace. Let us celebrate and rejoice in Him!

The psalmist sings about the power and strength of our Lord. He joyfully sings about God's mercy. He understands who God is to him, as an individual; as well as to his nation. Let us learn from this psalmist. When we have a fraction of knowledge about God, our ways of life would take a turn. We will soon realise that God has positioned us above all problems and troubles. We could enjoy reigning with Christ in heavenly places. Come what may and we shall sing and describe the power and might of our Lord in songs. We shall sing, dance and celebrate in great joy about the Lord's mercy and grace! Hallelujah!

Let us pray:

Dear God, I praise you with all my soul, my strength and my mind. You are the most potent force in the entire universe. Every power in heavens and on earth bows before You. Every trouble and problem submit themselves to You. They are nothing but instruments and channels in Your will. I fear not these troubles and difficulties but You alone. I rejoice and sing praises because I am invited to find safety in You. I am very well protected for You are my refuge and stronghold. Hallelujah! In Jesus' name, I pray, amen!
