One night I was spending time with my children, as I watched them, I thought to myself ‘how amazing is God’s handiwork’. Each of my children is His masterpiece. I am His masterpiece too. None of us is entirely alike, not even twins. We are all unique and special. We are handmade and not manufactured. Let’s start with this paradigm of knowing that God creates each of us. We are all different, and we should not compare ourselves with anyone else. Take a look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that God beautifully and wonderfully makes you.
The bible says in Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” In the New Living Translation Bible, it says, ‘For we are God’s masterpiece.” Indeed we are God’s creation. Let us see ourselves the way God sees us and be grateful for how He has created us individually. He loves each of us dearly as we are His pride and joy. Just like parents, we look at our children and admire the fact that they came from us. Amazing!
The first step to take is to see ourselves as God’s masterpiece. Let us learn to love the way we look and feel good about ourselves. Accepting ourselves and being grateful to God for we are His handiwork. As we learn to accept and love ourselves, we can begin to take good care of ourselves. We begin to inspire others.

Every time you look at yourself in the mirror, say "Thank you, Lord, for making me special, and I am made perfect in You. I am beautiful."
