You don’t need to walk alone.

Declaring God’s greatness and His goodness in worship

“I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”
Psalm 34:1

There are many forms of expression in worship. One of which is declaring. As we enter into worship, we declare and confess that Jesus is Lord. We speak of His wonders and power. We acknowledge all the works He has done for us. We give Him praise.

Cheering God reminds me of the fans shouting and clapping to encourage and support their team at a sports stadium. Watching all the fans cheer for their team as the games begin. In the same manner, we applaud God and give Him praises. We excite God through lifting our voice in praise.

Take action

Try to take a minute or so to say a few words of praises to God. Example: “Lord Jesus, You are amazing! You are the creator of heaven and earth! You are great and mighty; there is none like You. Thank You, Jesus!” Amen.

Let’s pray

Dear God, thank You for today. Thank You for lifting our spirits each day. I pray that You would continue to guide us and lead us as we learn to worship You more and more each day. Make us an instrument of worship. Let our lips bring praises to You. Thank You, dear heavenly Father, for being such a loving God. Thank You for watching over us every day. Amen.
