You don’t need to walk alone.

At The Right Time

Christ died for us when we were unable to help ourselves. We were living against God, but at just the right time Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6, ERV)

God lives outside of time, and yet He allows His will and plans to sync with our time. He has the power to control time which He did before (Joshua 10:12-14), that means, He could easily manipulate time to fulfil His desires, as well as to defeat the Devil. Nevertheless, He didn’t, and He patiently waited for the right time to save us from Satan.

At times I wonder why God would take such a long time to give Jesus for our sins. He could easily do it as soon as Adam sinned. Instead, He chooses to wait because the appointed time is not yet.

God’s appointed time is in sync with the readiness of His people, or to be more exact — His earthly agent or agents.

Do you remember Noah? When the Lord told him to build the boat, he took quite some time to accomplish the task. Throughout 120 years, there wasn’t a sign of flood until when Noah shut the door. The violent storms and devastating floods came not by coincidence, but by the appointed time. God’s right time was held back because Noah, the agent was not ready.

I may not fully comprehend all things that are happening in and around me, but You have everything in control.

For Christ to die for our sins happened not during Hanukkah, neither did the event happen in other appointed festivities. But it happens during the Passover. It was the same day when God passed over the nation of Egypt, killing all the firstborn Egyptian while delivering the children of Israel. God’s appointed time for Christ to die on the cross was a set time.

While the world is battling Coronavirus, many are hoping this day will end soon. The world is frantically praying and crying for deliverance. Many teams of researchers and scientists are working night-and-day for the vaccine. Yet when would the right time for God to intervene? I believe nobody has the answer. What could we do?

I would suggest that we continue to live life to the fullest, seize the day, and apply Kingdom Christianity to our ways of life. Love, encourage and demonstrate faith. God’s timing is always perfect even though we may perceive it as a last-minute or final hour. He knows what He is doing, so all we ought to do is, to get ourselves ready. Always be prepared and steadfast in Him.

Take comfort because Christ died for us when we were unable to help ourselves. We were living against God, but at just the right time Christ died for us.

Let us pray:

Dear God, thank You for Your grace which came through the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank You for taking control of time because this element is beyond my control. Today, I confidently submit the time and season into Your hands. I may not fully comprehend all things that are happening in and around me, but You have everything in control. As I submit my next financial breakthrough, and as I commit all of my plans to You. I believe You will get them ready for me. Praise You for being an awesome God. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
